Vendor Aligned Telemarketing Account Manager

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to work within our sales team representing one of the most exciting vendors to hit the B2B technology sector since VMware launched.

As a Telemarketing Account Manager, you will be focused on lead generation from both inbound and outbound activities, you will be responsible for making first contact and starting the relationship building process from opportunities gained from call out campaigns, trade shows/events and website downloads.


  • Contacting IT professionals via phone, email and social media
  • Answering inbound opportunities.
  • Working within a dedicated team supporting our vendor, and sales pipeline
  • B2B cold calling to identify business opportunities
  • Drive sales through cold calling, appointment setting
  • Writing clear reports for appointments set
  • Updating and maintaining contact database and CRM
  • Be flexible and take on the occasional administrative task
  • Work with Partner Account Managers to increase pipeline
  • Attending trade shows and partner events


  • Proven social networking skills
  • Aptitude for cold calling and appointment setting
  • Ability to maintain relationships with sales, technical and marketing resources
  • Understanding of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and close deals

Experience required:

  • IT product knowledge
  • Experience with CRM and other offices applications required
  • Cold calling experience
  • A-levels or equivalent experience is desirable, but a can-do attitude is a must!
