Elastifile's leadership has proven track records in multiple disciplines, including enterprise storage, virtualization technologies, applications optimization, NAND flash, and more.

Amir Aharoni - CEO and Co-Founder

Amir leads Elastifile with purpose and passion as a veteran technology executive with more than 25 years of experience. His track record of success comes from his consistent no-compromise approach to bringing best-in-class products to the market. Previously, Amir was the Co-founder, President, and CEO of Mobixell Networks, a provider of mobile multimedia and IP data and traffic management (acquired by Flash Networks).

Amir formerly served as President and COO at Optibase, where he was responsible for scaling the company’s operations and leading it to a successful NASDAQ IPO. Prior to Optibase, Amir was Vice President of Engineering and COO of VDOnet, an Internet video streaming and video conferencing company, acquired by Citrix. Amir’s career began as a VLSI engineer at Intel. He was awarded a BSEE/CS in computer engineering, summa cum laude, from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Shahar Frank - CTO and Co-Founder

A visionary evangelist to developers, customers, and employees, Shahar is the one ensuring Elastifile’s technology strategy serves its customers and its business strategy. He is a leading expert in file and block storage, clustering systems, and server desktop virtualization. Shahar was a Co-Founder of XtremIO, where he served as Chief Scientist until the company’s acquisition by EMC.

Prior to this, Shahar led the development of the storage stack for server and desktop virtualization at Redhat, as well as the architecture development of Qumranet’s VDI solution (acquired by Redhat). Shahar was also Chief Architect at Exanet (acquired by Dell) and worked on Infiniband stacks at Voltaire. Shahar holds a B.A. in computer science and political science from Tel Aviv University.

Roni Luxenburg - VP of R&D and Co-Founder

Roni’s mission is to ensure that product vision is realized through its execution. A colonel in reserve duty, he is a natural at building and leading engineering teams that develop and deliver. Previously, Roni was VP of R&D and Director of SW Engineering at Qumranet (acquired by Redhat), building and delivering its enterprise virtualization platform, and at Pentacom (acquired by Cisco Systems), designing advanced network services for high end routing platforms.

Roni holds a BSc in computer engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology and received his MBA magna cum laude from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
