Channel Account Manager

Job Summary

The Channel Account Manager will have a strong focus on the healthy mix between sales, sales enablement, and relation building.

Supports partners in nationwide and global deals.

Identifies, develops and manages multiple brand customer relationships at a corporate management level to position Ethos Technologies overall value, while providing management with strategic direction and plan implementation to drive maximum market share.


  • Drive and close deals together with the channel team.
  • Drive sales through Account mapping with partners.
  • Promoting our Vendor products into our Reseller Partners.
  • You will be responsible for building up your own account base using the many tools at your disposal.
  • Present Ethos Partner Solutions value proposition to customers, and assist/enable partners in field prospect meetings, demo's, offers, etc.
  • Demonstrate Ethos Partner solutions as part of the ongoing development of Partners.
  • Expert knowledge of assigned product/service line and broad understanding of how they integrate with the organization's entire product/service line.
  • Typically works on a cross-section of large and/or prominent accounts with several changing variables and complexity.
  • Work is performed under very limited direction. Has considerable latitude in determining best approach to sales and service tasks.
  • Maintains excellent rapport with existing clients and frequently interacts directly with new prospects to build customer base and increase sales.
  • Provides input to sales management.
  • Owns and manages strategy for the customer.
  • Ensure cross-divisional teamwork in order to leverage Ethos Technologies value in achieving the customer's business vision.


  • Proven social networking skills.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with sales, technical and marketing resources.
  • Understanding of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and close deals.
  • Ability to assist and set up partner technical and sales resources to run demonstrations.
  • Forecasting on sales pipeline and delivering sales results through the Channel Manager.
  • Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communications skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years prior Sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM and other offices applications required.
  • Experience selling technology in some of the following areas. Cloud, Servers, Storage software and Hardware, Networking, Data protection solutions or virtualization is a must.
  • A Levels or equivalent experience is desirable, but a can-do attitude is a must!
