Internal Account Manager – UK Based

Job Summary

As an Internal Account Manager, you will work to develop new business opportunities and to manage all new accounts you develop opportunities within. Working alongside our Channel Team you will be responsible for building and maintaining relations with your customer base. Account Management will be through self-generated leads which will involve cold calling to book B2B appointments and building up an account base to sell our partner products. The role will be primarily commercial, with a strong focus on the healthy mix between sales, sales enablement, and relation building. The Internal Accounts Manager is a high impact, prominent role helping to establishing Ethos Partner Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and close deals together with the channel team
  • Win new business through pro-active outbound telephone activity
  • You will be responsible for building up your own account base using the many tools at your disposal
  • Present Ethos Partner Solutions value proposition to IT leaders, and assist/enable partners in field prospect meetings, demo's, offers, etc.
  • To build and manage a pipeline of ongoing opportunities
  • Gaining a set number of new meetings per month to retain Ethos KPI’s

Requirements:

Qualities that will help you succeed in this role

  • Proven social networking skills
  • Aptitude for cold calling and appointment setting
  • Build your own account base via cold calling
  • Ability to maintain relationships with sales, technical and marketing resources
  • Understanding of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of
  • usiness cases, and close deals
  • Ability to assist and set up partner technical and sales resources to run demonstrations
  • Forecasting on sales pipeline and delivering sales results through the channel
  • Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years prior Sales experience
  • Experience with CRM and other office applications required
  • Experience selling servers, storage hardware, networking, data protection solutions or virtualization would be beneficial but not a must
  • A Levels or equivalent experience is desirable, but a can-do attitude is a must!
